Check the purchase storefront and timing
Epic's FAQ says any End of Abyss pre-purchase or purchase on the Epic Games Store qualifies while the game remains for sale there. The Cel Outfit is scheduled to appear from October 1, 2026 at 8 p.m. Eastern. It may also be bought separately in the Fortnite Shop from that time. The FAQ does not say a PlayStation or Xbox game purchase qualifies.

Use the same Epic account on another platform
The FAQ says the outfit can appear in a Fortnite locker on another platform if you sign in with the same Epic account on PC or mobile, or link the console account to that Epic account. Check the account connection if it is missing after the stated start time. We have not tested a grant or account-link flow.

If you already own the outfit or refund the game
If you bought the Cel Outfit in the Fortnite Shop first, then make an eligible End of Abyss purchase, Epic says you receive a one-time 1,500 V-Bucks grant instead, only if the outfit purchase was within the previous 12 months. Epic also says refunding the qualifying End of Abyss purchase removes the outfit or the 1,500 V-Bucks grant obtained through that purchase. These are the published terms, not an observed account outcome.
