Before you start
- Use the released Steam Early Access game. The September 23 discussion does not identify its exact build.
- Have access to your current crafting recipes and a cooking station; the Stove unlock and construction recipe still need verification.
Check the recipe before gathering more
If the recipe stays hidden, capture the ingredient names, quantities, station, recipe filters and installed version. This report does not establish whether discovery, possession or another prerequisite controls visibility.
- Check for missing ingredient types before repeating the recipe lookup.
- Check the crafting list near the reported station. If Seafood Platter appears, read its displayed quantities and requirements before cooking.
- Craft one only when the current recipe permits it. Confirm the resulting item and inventory changes; recipe visibility alone is not a completed meal.

Do not assume every water source has every catch
Sagestone corrected the thread: some special catches require particular water types. It supplied no complete location table; one player’s successful spot cannot prove universal availability.

Seafood Platter is only part of Executive Chef
The official achievement requires cooking three dishes: Hearty Vegetable Soup, Shepherds Pie and Seafood Platter. Catching ingredients or preparing only this meal does not satisfy that published requirement. Recipes for the other two meals, co-op credit and the unlock trigger remain untested by Kingy.
