After the opening sequence, inspect the Court menu and choose a regional objective. Court activity is one supported route towards the vampire rulers; it is not a mandatory checklist for every possible ending.

PowerPyx documents a route through activities associated with Ambrus, Bakir and Xanthe. Raising each ruler’s anger leads towards a challenge quest, with Brencis beyond that sequence. Its recommended order starts with Ambrus.
Choose an activity the map and Court screen currently show, complete its actual interaction or hand-in, then recheck the meter. Clearing enemies alone is not proof that the activity is finished.

The reported entry requirement for Where Loyalty Lies is Notorious Infamy, level IV, visible in the Court tab. Once reached, meet Sara in Svartrau to continue the Manumit line.
That faction requirement should not be confused with angering one particular ruler. Check which meter your tracked objective names before repeating activities.

Keep room for a different decision
Use separate saves before major story commitments. Avoid attacking a non-hostile quest giver merely to test an outcome unless you are prepared to reload.
A single preferred campaign route cannot establish that every side quest remains available forever. Read the deadline and phase markers in your own journal.
