Before you start

  • Aerial Rush, the mid-air forward dash from The Occultist, to reach the outermost keys. Two walkthroughs call it Air Dash or Dash; the unlock card in release-day footage reads Aerial Rush.
  • Kingy has not played the released game; the steps come from three written walkthroughs and the gameplay video below.

Find the clue and the candle counts

  1. In Notre-Dame, find the gold wall plaque in the vertical corridor beside the Sealed Scriptorium and the Great Organ Room. It hints at something beneath the stairs.

Play the organ

  1. Unlock Aerial Rush (the ability two walkthroughs call Air Dash or Dash) before you try, or you cannot reach the outer keys. It comes from beating The Occultist, Carmilla, atop the Library.

Key order reported for launch copies

Reveal solution / story details

Counting the 14 floor keys from the left, one walkthrough gives the candle counts 9, none, none, 8, 7, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, none, none, 4, none. A second walkthrough places the played keys in the same left-to-right order (9, 8, 7, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 4) but labels them with different zodiac names. One guide calls the counts random, so if your gallery shows different numbers, follow your gallery.
