How the announced Arcana system works

Konami ties Arcana acquisition to defeating bosses. That establishes the acquisition method, but not each card’s effect, cost or whether it opens a particular traversal gate. Seven weapon categories are advertised without a complete named category list on this page.

Keep a return-route note

When a route is blocked, record the room landmark and the action you tried. Add a required ability only after the game demonstrates it. This notebook approach avoids turning a suspected gate into a false map instruction.

The official overview names Death, Medusa, Carmilla and Joan of Arc. Their encounter order, weaknesses and corresponding Arcana effects are not established by that list.
