Catching, Twining and wild encounters
Learn what the official material establishes, then keep the rates and routes open until the launch build can be tested.
Catching is an encounter, not a menu
The official Steam description says Pathfinders catch Aniimo with Aniipods, can set traps and need to time the catch. It also says different Aniimo can appear according to environment, weather, phenomena and time of day.

What Twining means
Twining is the bond that lets a Pathfinder become an Aniimo and experience Idyll through that creature’s movement, senses and abilities. It sits at the center of exploration and combat, not just collection.

Prismana and Umbral encounters
For launch, nurturing has a flat base chance to trigger Prismana Flow and retains a guarantee system. Lucky Strikes can grant items, add Prismatic Energy and may directly trigger Prismana Flow. Wild Surges and the open world can produce Umbral Aniimo; Pawprint says Umbral Aniimo have Perfect Potential.

Legendary encounters
Irisalis is the documented launch example: exploration and story progress award legendary tokens, those tokens craft a personal Legendary Aniipod, and that unlocks a one-time story encounter. Pawprint says this design will be the template for future Legendary Aniimo encounters.
