A department with people in it
The Artificial Intelligence Applications Division belongs to Foundation IT in this canon. Its artificially intelligent conscripts work under rules concerning self-knowledge, clearance, the Foundation’s interests, and survival. Those rules give conversations about personality and duty practical stakes. The hub’s personnel entries are useful reference material, but they describe statuses that can reveal later developments. On a first visit, use its story links before browsing the full roster.

Start with the dialogue
ALERT! LOCKDOWN INITIATED! opens with Alexandra and Glacon discussing personnel navigating a containment emergency. Their exchanges combine operational detail with a disagreement about whether a personality helps an intelligence do its work. Follow who is speaking and which systems each can access. That is enough preparation for the first story; reading a synopsis of its conclusion would remove an important part of the experience. The page links directly to the next installment, Command-Query Separation, so the conversation supplies a manageable entrance into the original five-part sequence.

Publication sequence and internal chronology
The hub separates the original AIAD series, Hello World, and Limited Memory, and also supplies a chronological timeline. Those are different ways into the collection. Our suggested first route follows the original series; readers returning for background can use the timeline, which places Limited Memory earlier. A later story’s version number or assigned site should remain attached to that work. The hub does not establish that every intelligent machine anywhere on the SCP Wiki shares the same origin or obligations.
