Kingy / SCP Atlas

About the Atlas

How Kingy SCP Atlas handles sources, contexts, spoilers, attribution, and corrections.

A guide to reading and discovery.

Kingy SCP Atlas connects introductions, original works, and selected adaptations. It is independently published by Kingy and is not an official SCP Wiki project.

How we handle evidence.

Substantive dossier sections, context comparisons, and documented connections point to source records. Source scope stays visible: an article, canon, translation, and game account are separate contexts. Reading paths are editorial recommendations, not claims of fictional relationships.

This edition was prepared with agent-assisted research and writing. Source-check dates describe retrieval and inspection; they do not establish review by an SCP author, community editor, translator, or a human testing team. No gameplay observation is implied by a documentation-based comparison.

Your reading experience.

Introduction previews are the public default. Higher reading depths reveal additional story material. Links to original works leave the Atlas, where these settings do not apply. My Archive stores bookmarks and reading progress in your browser; it requires no account.

Licensing and changes.

SCP-derived explanations are adaptations under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0. The original sources and authors are credited on their dossiers and in the source register. No former SCP-173 photograph or sculpture likeness is used here. Original abstract diagrams and typography sit alongside individually credited images. Each reused image has its own source, creator, license and modification note. Image captions and credits follow the same reading-depth setting as the image; links to original sites may reveal more.

Source text may change after our recorded check. If an explanation or attribution needs correction, use Kingy’s contribution route and include the Atlas URL, original source, and specific issue. We do not accept unsourced lore as established fact.

What comes next.

The collection can expand across branches, formats, settings, and adaptations. Coverage reporting distinguishes actual guides from source records; this edition does not claim to explain every SCP.
