Start with a surveillance arrangement. Read which observations the report allows and which it warns against before comparing the images with its prose.
An ornate coffin produces disturbing camera footage that people standing beside it do not see. The retrieval transcript lets two observers disagree about the same room.

Switch from remote surveillance to a photographer’s account. The photographs and the person using them deserve separate attention.
Iris Thompson can interact with places through photographs. Her dossier places a recognizable person beside the institution’s classification and control of an unusual ability.

Follow a recording through its viewing notes. Check which details belong to a particular playback rather than treating the tape as one fixed scene.
A videotape appears to show a presidential speech, but repeated viewings diverge. This work uses a familiar recorded event as the frame for explicitly fictional and graphic horror.

End with a written performance and its production history. Read the document sections in order; later material changes how an ordinary script can be approached.
