01 / Field notes
Begin with the agreement and the welcome
The formal Boring Agreement prelude and Tim Wilson’s introduction set different tones for the same relationship. Read both before the animal profiles. Their juxtaposition makes clear that everyday care and the Foundation’s demand for secrecy coexist, with obligations that are more demanding than the friendly welcome initially suggests.

How to use the collection
The hub distinguishes supervised projects, independent profiles, and personal stories. Choose a critter profile to meet a resident on its own terms, or a Foundation-linked project to see how the organisations divide responsibility. These are useful editorial routes through the archive; the friendly format does not establish that every animal is safe to approach.
