Shark Punching Center

A family of comic and unsettling stories imagines organisations dedicated to punching sharks. The hub explicitly supports several approaches and more than one continuity.

01 / Field notes

Keep SPC and SCP distinct

The reversed letters are meaningful. An SPC number may echo an SCP article without identifying the same object or event. Start with the hub’s explanation of the premise, then choose a project. The mock database warning and news items are jokes inside the presentation, not operational instructions for this Atlas.

A project rather than a containment file

The format guidance treats an SPC document as an account of a project’s capabilities and effectiveness. That shift helps explain why mirrored SCP conventions can produce a different kind of story. Reading a source and its deliberately transformed counterpart can be useful, provided the comparison does not collapse parody, alternate setting, and original text into one record.
