Read the surviving record cautiously
The file says much of its formal documentation was destroyed. Its remaining interview, notes, and signal reports therefore do different jobs. Begin with why the volunteer accepts the assignment, then compare the researchers’ expectations with what their apparatus returns. This is one work’s fictional investigation of death, not a universal SCP cosmology.
