A character reference with a defined scope
The source is qntm’s commentary about a fictional protagonist, not a Foundation personnel record or a biography of the writer. It explains which details were intentionally left sparse in the stories and offers visual suggestions for readers and artists. Later portrayals by other authors may make different choices.
