Before you start
- Source-derived Steam Early Access checks from v0.5.2 and v0.6.3. Button patterns, numerical MP costs and console mappings are not verified here.
Check timing before assuming the command is wrong
The v0.5.2 audio-system migration recommended a fresh calibration. That advice is scoped to the documented change; this guide does not prescribe a universal latency value or promise that calibration fixes every timing problem.
- Open Options, then Sound Settings and locate calibration.
- Compare the controls shown in Rataport Help with the input mode and bindings you are actually using.
- Record whether the command is unavailable, fails its input, or activates with an unexpected result.

Use the Quest Board when a technique is missing
Read the technique’s displayed requirement before repeating an input sequence. The Super Fever note says activation consumes Tension. Exact button strings and numerical costs must come from your applicable game UI or a separately verified table.
| Technique | Documented checks |
|---|---|
| Hustle Skill 2 | Unlock at Quest Board; not available by default in v0.5.2 |
| Super Fever Tech | Quest Board unlock, full Tension gauge, specified Rhythm Command |

Four-beat Jump in the v0.5.2 notes
This update shortened Jump from eight beats to four and allowed another command during Jump. Advice based on the older eight-beat duration can therefore describe a different input rhythm. This is a dated command change, not a tested dodge window for a specific boss.

Make one supported equipment check before deployment
v0.6.3 places accessory equipment in Squad/Formation. v0.5.2 documents comparison displays and crafting confirmations. These checks help you use your actual inventory; they do not establish an optimal squad, crafting recipe or upgrade priority.
- In Squad/Formation, inspect available Cobun accessories and their displayed effects.
- When comparing Cobuns of the same unit type, use the formation screen’s displayed stat differences.
- Inspect the final crafting confirmation before consuming a weapon you still need.
