What Update #3 changes for managers

The October 5 patch notes align the restock amount with the automated red Restock Ingredients objective, which appears when an ingredient falls below 10. They also account for already queued deliveries. This threshold is published behavior, not a tested maximum inventory or an instruction to order duplicates.

Managers now gain skill experience for trying to resolve complaints, with an extra bonus for a positive outcome, for ordering ingredients and for delivering ordered items to storage. Kingy has not measured experience rewards or level requirements.

Check the published task order before changing staff

The October 2 patch puts serving meals first, followed by processing ingredients, making food or drinks, and taking new orders. Manager tasks then cover ingredient delivery, buying and complaints; cleanup follows, with trash and storage cleanup assigned to the Cleaner role. This is a published priority order, not a measured staffing ratio.

The developer warns that a single-staff venue with too many seats will likely leave many customers unserved. Compare occupied seats, queued meals and assigned roles on your current build before hiring or adding seats.

Use the dated workaround if a task still stops

The October 2 Update #2 notes said stuck staff was under investigation and suggested reducing hired staff because idle positions might be involved. Update #3 updates staff spots and several specific tasks, but does not explicitly close every stuck-staff issue. Keep the reduced-staff suggestion dated; neither the workaround nor a permanent repair has been reproduced by Kingy.

Record the installed build, venue, staff count and roles, seat count, available storage and refrigeration, and which task stopped advancing. Change one variable at a time and keep a save before experimenting. Kingy has not reproduced the bug or verified a permanent repair.

1. Check whether the staff member has a role matching the waiting task and whether seats exceed the service capacity you observe.
2. Check the venue storage display after Update #2, including decorative storage and the Kitchen Buffet if present.
3. If staff remains stuck on the installed update, the October 2 reduced-staff suggestion is a dated workaround to try; record whether the same task resumes rather than assuming Update #3 fixes it.
4. If the problem persists, report the build and repeatable steps through the official support channel.

Banor timing in existing saves

The developer says Banor could previously eat during his working schedule. Existing saves can retain that behavior, so his next arrival may still be late; the note says he should be on time after that. This is the patch-note caveat, not a verified guarantee for your save. Record the installed build and a repeated delay if it continues.
