Before you start
- This procedure concerns ordinary dungeon runs. Keep the selected difficulty visible; the linked challenge guide covers Hardcore separately.
- Have the Pendant available and check its assigned input in your controls. Sources span November 2025 Early Access and September 2026 release reporting; Kingy has not reproduced the sequence on a current build.
End the run before defeat
Prima’s Early Access testing reports that the Pendant can activate during movement, including rolls. You need not stand still. The current activation duration, damage interaction and individual relic effects still need gameplay checks.
- When you decide to leave, move away from an immediate attack and hold the Pendant input. Allow the return to complete; beginning the action is not proof that you have escaped.
- Wait for Tresna to load, then inspect the relics you brought back. Capture any unexpected missing item or changed Quality before selling.

Read the defeat choice before confirming
Player Atlas reports a 50% relic Quality reduction after Normal-mode defeat. Its screenshot shows Go to Tresna and Retry Dungeon; only the latter carries the backpack-loss warning. That image confirms the warning, not a measured before-and-after penalty.
The developer’s November 28 patch made Retry Dungeon a hold action to reduce accidental restarts. Check which option is selected before holding its control. This is historical PC patch evidence, not confirmation of every console interface.

Unload sale stock before re-entering
Expected result: your reserved stock remains in shop storage while you begin the next run. Kingy has not tested current storage capacity, transfer shortcuts or carryover behavior.
- At the shop, move relics you intend to sell later into K33P3R’s chest; Prima identifies it as storage for future sales.
- Inspect your backpack before entering another dungeon. The November 28 developer notes say relics carried from the shop into a dungeon lose all Quality and that a warning was added.
- Read any entry warning before confirming. If it conflicts with this historical rule, record your platform, build and exact text before risking valuable stock.
