The September 2021 original announcement
Later official posts reference the original reveal (“it’s been a minute”), but the 2021 announcement itself was outside this edition’s verified PlayStation.Blog archive, which begins September 24, 2025. We did not re-verify it, so this edition does not state its date.
Insomniac source retrieval
The game page and accessibility support article remain unread from the September 14 review. For the September 19 hotfix check, the separate 01.001.005 article returned HTTP 403; Insomniac’s public support API returned the full article. The source ledger records that fallback.
Official footage was not frame-reviewed
Trailer titles and uploaders were verified through YouTube’s public metadata, but no trailer was frame-reviewed for this edition. Trailer scenes are promotional footage, not verified mechanics.
Released game; gameplay untested by Kingy
Sony confirmed the September 15 PS5 launch. The September 19 review checks that confirmation and hotfix 01.001.005, not a playable build. Older preview details describe a curated two-hour session on a development build, and retain their original evidence dates.
