Tronn and Leah: skills, Mastery bonuses and Resonances

Quick answer

Tronn (Breaker; Fire, Ice and Thunder) brings Fire, Blizzard, Thunder and Blind, and his Resonance Hibernal Fury hits random enemies with Ice five times. Leah (Medic; Light and healing) brings Cure, Shell, Libra and Banish, and her Resonance Healing Wind heals everyone with Regen and can push HP past max. Their awakening tiers run 0★ to 3★, and each has ten Mastery Rank bonuses.

Resonance: Hibernal Fury

After a Sweeping Stagger on two Gigantoads, Hibernal Fury finished both: 415 and 263 total damage, ending the battle with the No Damage and Stagger Finish bonuses.

Animated clip: Tronn's Hibernal Fury Resonance fills the screen with ice, then totals of 415 and 263 appear over the two Gigantoads

Resonance: Healing Wind

Healing Wind is the support choice. In our test it took Rain to 516 HP against a 494 maximum, matching its text that the heal can exceed max HP.

Animated clip: the Healing Wind Resonance is chosen, a blue water effect washes over the party and the HP readouts rise, Rain's above his maximum

A sensible first pairing

Rain's own role is Sentinel and Lasswell's is Breaker; a Vision brings its own role on top. In our run Tronn on either character gave the Ice that staggers Goblins and Gigantoads in one hit, and Leah's Libra (1 MP) is the quickest way to reveal a new enemy's weaknesses. Both Resonances are offered whenever both Visions are equipped, so equip one on each character.

The rest of Chapter 1, Vision awakening materials, player-summoned Espers and the save transfer to the full game were not reached.Reported ·
Kingy play test: Final Fantasy Resonance demo, Mitra through Grandshelt Castle ↗First-hand play of the public Steam demo (app 4474710, title screen 1.0.0.0; Steam build number not recorded) on the same Windows 11 PC as the October 21 test, keyboard, October 22, 2026, in three sessions. Continues the October 21 save (Chapter 1, party Lv.5, in-game clock 2:29:47), which was started on Normal difficulty. Covers Options and the default keyboard map, field healing, the world-map route from Mitra to Grandshelt, the Royal Capital, with its pickups and battle rewards, Rain's and Lasswell's skill lists and Limit Bursts, Mastery Rank costs for Tronn and Leah up to MR 5, and Grandshelt Castle through its boss, Hell's Rider (party Lv.8, then Lv.9), and the story scenes after it. The last manual save, outside the capital, read 2:48:36; play went on after it. Screenshots of the game window, other windows masked. Stopped back in the capital after the castle, before the end of Chapter 1. The full game wasn't installed on the test PC, so the save transfer to it was not tested.Reported ·
