The short answer
Hotfix 1.5.3.3 fixes incorrectly positioned reconstruction pieces and the Place your backed up base Journey step. The patch does not promise restoration of pieces already lost. The older support warning and small-base alternative remain dated context, not proof that every relocation issue persists.

What 1.5.3.3 fixes
Update the client before retrying an affected Journey step. The developer identifies incorrect reconstruction-piece positions and failure of the placed-base Journey step as fixed. It supplies no general recovery procedure for already missing pieces.

Earlier support warning: missing pieces
The September 19 support list, last checked September 20, was investigating the tool’s involvement. The newer patch confirms specific positioning and Journey fixes. Funcom’s warning does not establish a reliable restoration procedure or prove that every missing piece has this cause. Kingy has not reproduced the issue.
