The short answer
Speak with Yanna on the road outside Coen’s home. At the river, use Focus Mode to find the rods in the reeds, place them at the four marked spots, then bait a rod to continue.
Before you start

- Allow for the baiting interaction’s time cost
Follow your siblings or meet them later
Offering help immediately begins the walk to the river. If you postpone or move away, the objective can change to meeting the siblings there; that change does not by itself mean the quest has failed.
Read the tracked objective on return. A later arrival can skip the rod setup and take you directly to baiting. Do not search indefinitely for an earlier objective the game has already advanced.

Decide whether to play tag
Tag with Mirto and Lunka uses an extra time block. Skipping it preserves that time; playing it adds family conversation and background. Choose for the experience you want, rather than treating either branch as universally correct.

Complete the fishing setup
- At the water, activate Focus Mode and collect the fishing rods beside the reeds.
- Place a rod at each of the four mounds on the bank.
- Interact with a rod to bait the hook. This is the reported one-segment commitment that triggers the scene; you do not need to bait every rod separately.

Sword-marked replies can start a fight with the soldier. Staying calm avoids that optional fight. An Uriash intervenes and the exchange concludes the quest. Dialogue tone is a roleplaying choice; this guide does not promise broader relationship outcomes for every line.
