Which blueprint to find
Dexerto ties each blueprint unlock to clearing the listed biome. Collect the plan, check its construction card at the settlement and finish the building with your harvesters. Confirm that the character appears before treating the unlock as complete. Exact drop conditions and current costs still need build-specific checks.

Choose around the equipment limit
The publisher describes twice the ball capacity and no passive items for the Ballbearer. The Hoary Hoarder instead has two ball slots and twice the passive capacity. A build that needs both a wide ball selection and many passives will need adjustment for either character.
These restrictions describe the announced characters. They do not establish an optimal loadout, unlock order or behavior when combined with another character.
