Packing fragile cargo and reading the load

The documented packing grid and a careful way to test cargo behaviour.

Prerelease · October 9 Steam / Google Play target · Updated 2026-09-13

The short answer

Truckful uses physics-driven cargo. The updated packing view shows a vertical and horizontal grid and clearer loading controls.

Shape, weight and movement

The store describes fitting and transporting cargo with different demands, including fragile objects and time-sensitive deliveries. The public material does not supply universal weight limits, tie-down rules or a guaranteed stacking arrangement.

Use the revised packing view

The later demo notes improve cargo visibility and packing controls. Community Update 13 describes the full grid and places the control hints alongside it. Check the controls shown in your build rather than assuming an older demo’s layout is unchanged.

A useful loading experiment

Our suggested method is to change one part of a load, repeat a short route and note whether cargo moves or is damaged. Record the upgrade state, cargo arrangement and road conditions. That produces comparable observations; it is not a tested perfect-load prescription.

  1. Read the delivery’s stated requirement.
  2. Inspect cargo dimensions in the packing view.
  3. Try a short, familiar stretch before the longer route.
  4. Note which item shifts before repacking.
