The short answer
Cook from recorded recipes with the required ingredients, and fish at designated spots with suitable rod and bait combinations. Use notebook entries to decide what to try next rather than chasing an unverified 100% total.
Before you start
- Access to the relevant notebook and activity
- Ingredients or fishing equipment in your save
Prepare food and inspect the result
Some failed cooking attempts produce Attack Food that can damage enemies. This is occasional; failure does not guarantee a specific offensive item.
- Open the Recipe Book and choose a recipe you have recorded.
- Check its ingredients before cooking.
- Inspect the result and effect before using it in battle.

Try a different rod and bait combination
Changing combinations can attract different fish. Exact species tables, catch rates, top-rank size rules and reward thresholds still need current-build evidence.
- Use a designated fishing spot and select from the rod and bait combinations you own.
- Check the Fishing Notebook after a catch; it records information and supports collection rewards.
- If fishing crashes the Steam trial, update it: demo 1.00.1 includes a fix for that issue.
Make an optional-content pass before the finale
Community completion discussions identify books, recipe variants, fish and chests as useful categories to check. Their counts are provisional and are not Kingy completion targets. Record what your own notebooks show.
Review remaining shops and requests before the reported Academy lock-in. Keep a pre-finale save if you want to return to collection work; a finished-demo save alone may not provide that access.
