Compare a drop in this order
- Compare equipment at similar power and difficulty. Record the version and roll.
- Separate unconditional bonuses from effects requiring a wounded enemy, negative status or another trigger.
- Check how the enchantment interacts with your weapon and other slots.
- Compare clear time and survival across repeat runs before calling one weapon better.
An example of a conditional bonus
The pictured Double Daggers gains damage against enemies with a negative status. That condition matters when evaluating a setup, but the image does not establish how damage bonuses combine or whether a specific enchantment always supplies the required status.
Keeping an item
The Blacksmith upgrades power and rerolls effects. This makes a useful roll worth considering beyond its initial power, without proving that upgrading it is always the cheapest option.
