Find Dael and start the Journey

The opening map frame shows the clue “The Perfumer Looks Anxious” at the Celestis outpost entrance, on the eastern side of the purple forest. Match its yellow player marker and clue icon in the linked frame.

Dael stands beside a low opening between dark rocks, with hanging purple flowers, a wooden post and a barrel nearby. At 00:15–00:16, approaching him shows the Nest of Stars location banner and the new Journey quest.

1. Approach Perfumer Dael and speak to him.
2. Finish the opening conversation. Track A Fragrant Journey: Forest of Falling Stars and confirm the objective to explore the Celestis outpost.
3. Put Celestis in your available party and Twine with it. At 00:30, the video shows Celestis in the third active slot; at 00:35, the player is in Celestis form beside Dael.

Enter the outpost and find the three nests

Stay in Celestis form and go through the opening behind Dael. Follow the short purple-flower path into the sheltered clearing with shallow water, blue flowers and hanging star-shaped objects.

The three nests sit together in front of pale boulders under a twisting tree. Their interaction is Insert large Starine. The separate close-up source shows a requirement of three Large Starines.

1. Follow the tracked marker through the rock opening and across the shallow water.
2. Locate the three nests in front of the boulders so you can return after collecting the large items.
3. Distinguish the pickup names: ordinary Starine, Large Starine and the later Treasured Large Starine have different jobs.

Collect two Large Starines in the clearing

The complete Dael recording shows two direct pickups before the trade. Its route stays inside the outpost.

1. Find the open end of a hollow fallen log beside the rock wall. An orange star floats inside, next to a chest and ordinary Starine. At 00:56, the interaction menu explicitly labels the large pickup Large Starine. Select that item.
2. Continue through the nearby narrow gap between the rocks, shown at 01:01.
3. In the small dead-end alcove with orange leaves on the ground, collect the second floating orange star. At 01:06, its interaction also reads Large Starine.

Trade ten ordinary Starines with Dum-Dum

Collect ordinary Starines around the clearing and inside the smaller hollow log. The video shows an ordinary pickup by the nests at 01:25, two Starine prompts in the small log at 01:35, and another pickup near the blue-flower edge at 01:45.

Dum-Dum stands by the rock wall beside the remaining large orange star. His interaction offers both seven and ten ordinary Starines; the successful recorded route uses ten.

1. Pick up ordinary Starines until you have ten. Check the item name rather than treating the large orange stars as this currency.
2. Speak to Dum-Dum and select Take out 10 Starines, shown at 01:50.
3. Complete the exchange dialogue and take the Large Starine. Dum-Dum acknowledges ten at 01:55; the Large Starine acquisition notification is visible at 02:00.

Fill the nests and take the treasured item

Return to the three nests and use Insert large Starine after collecting all three. A separate recorded close-up shows the successful 3/3 delivery; the full Dael recording then shows the Celestis and Stellarys scene.

After the scene, the quest item is separate from the chest. At 03:01, the interaction list explicitly offers Treasured Large Starine beside ordinary Starines, while chest rewards are already appearing.

1. Check that the delivery panel shows three Large Starines, then complete the nest interaction.
2. Let the scene and Twinkle dialogue finish.
3. Collect the purple Treasured Large Starine beside the nests. Confirm the tracker changes to Go to Perfumer Dael. Opening the nearby chest alone does not establish that you collected the quest item.

Return to Dael and finish the hand-in

Retrace the short route through the opening to Dael. At 03:15, the full recording shows the return objective and Dael outside. After talking to him, the tracker at 03:25 asks for the Treasured Large Starine.

At 03:35, the named Journey completion appears and the old objective is cleared. The visible reward feed includes 30 Glimmer, 50 Breezy Plains Dewdrop, Peace of Mind ×1 and 7500 Credits. These are the recorded rewards, not a promise that a later build has identical amounts.

1. Speak to Dael outside the outpost.
2. Complete the Treasured Large Starine hand-in when the objective requests it, then finish the dialogue.
3. Verify the completion card says A Fragrant Journey: Forest of Falling Stars. The outpost scene and chest are earlier milestones.

If progress stops

If the entrance or NPC interactions do not match, check that you are in Celestis form and following the named Dael quest. The successful recorded route uses that form throughout the outpost.

If the nests will not proceed, check the Large Starine count. Revisit the hollow log, the rock alcove and Dum-Dum’s completed ten-Starine trade. Ordinary Starines are the trade currency.

If the scene has ended but Dael still needs an item, return to the nests and look for the purple Treasured Large Starine interaction. Then speak to Dael again and follow the hand-in objective.

A quest-state bug after those checks has no verified reset in this evidence. Keep your items and record the quest log, platform and build for a correction report.
